Meet Karen
Karen believes that being a good real estate professional means being an active member of the community she serves. Getting her real estate license in 2012 was a natural progression for her, following decades of property investing - owning rental properties, and following a keen interest in architecture and design. She now serves customers across the Gulf Coast, really listening, understanding, communicating, and challenging herself to be the best she can be each and every day. She's known for her commitment, integrity, and for an exceptional level of customer care.
Karen is originally from Brooklyn, NY. Before a career in real estate, she was something of a “corporate nomad”, living in many cities from Dallas to Los Angeles and Philadelphia, to name a few, before finding her home in Sarasota. (Consequently, she always has a team in some playoff!) Her experience included working with AT&T and MasterCard among others. Karen has a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the University of Miami.
Beyond being recognized with awards in real estate, she's received numerous designations including Green, AHWD, CIPS, RENE, RSPS, MRP, and SRS - which, underneath all those letters, means she's got you covered no matter the situation. Outside of real estate, she enjoys reading and cooking and loves walking her rescue dog, Jazzie, to Little Sarasota Bay.
